We are looking for a candidate with the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
Medical Accounts Receivable Experience: 2-3 years of experience in medical accounts receivable is required. Experience with nEMT ambulance or ambulance billing is a plus.
Technical and Computer Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, MS Office, and web-based applications. Experience with Mediroutes and Zoll Billing Software is a plus.
Education: High-school graduate or equivalent.
Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of tools used within the healthcare industry, as well as experience with audits.
Document Interpretation: Ability to interpret documents, medical records, and other documentation related to medical claims.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to identify and resolve workflow trends.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
Be experienced and knowledgeable in the entire medical billing process.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with managers and team members to ensure proper expectations are met on accounts.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency.
Deliver required reports to management in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and laws.
Assist with additional projects as assigned by leadership.
