We are seeking a skilled AM Cook to join our team. The AM Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch items according to menu specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and will be able to work efficiently to ensure timely service.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a breakfast or lunch setting
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Food handler's permit or certificate
Excellent verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to recipes and menu specifications
Set up stations and collect all necessary ingredients to prepare menu items
Ensure that food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
Monitor food stock and place orders when needed
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner
Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Additional Requirements
Availability to work early morning shifts
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Physical endurance to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots or pans
Ability to work well in a team setting and take direction from supervisors
