Job Title: Alternative Investments Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Alternative Investments Manager to join our team. As an Alternative Investments Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing alternative investment portfolios, including private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, and other non-traditional investment vehicles. Your role will involve identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities to maximize returns and mitigate risks for our clients or organization.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough due diligence and analysis on potential alternative investment opportunities, assessing risks, returns, and strategic fit.
  • Develop and execute investment strategies for alternative asset classes, aligned with portfolio objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Monitor and manage existing alternative investment portfolios, including performance tracking, valuation, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external fund managers, investment partners, and industry professionals.
  • Negotiate terms, structures, and agreements for alternative investments, ensuring alignment with investor expectations and objectives.
  • Stay updated with market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in alternative investments.
  • Provide investment recommendations and insights to senior management or clients based on thorough research and analysis.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and investment guidelines.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Proven experience (X years) in alternative investments management, private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial data and investment opportunities.
  • Knowledge of investment analysis techniques, financial modeling, and valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic investment environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio diversification.
  • Proficiency in investment management software and tools for portfolio analysis and reporting.

Compensation: The compensation package for this position includes a competitive base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits such as performance-based bonuses, profit-sharing, health insurance, and retirement plans may be offered.
