Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Aircraft Mechanic at Texas Southern University in Houston, TX. The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance tasks, including aircraft structures, powerplant, and aircraft systems. The role will involve maintaining and repairing aircraft to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
Qualifications
- Aircraft Structures, PowerPlant, and Aircraft Systems expertise
- Experience in performing aircraft maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- FAA certification and/or relevant licenses is a plus
- Experience in a higher education or research environment is beneficial
