Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic with a strong background in structural and sheet metal repair and assembly. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience installing and removing rivets, Hi-Loks, and other structural components.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assembly, disassembly, and repairs required for airframe overhaul, repair, modification, and upgrades, including the removal, replacement, and repair of engine, airframe, and aircraft structure parts.
Conduct airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.
Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.
Carry out airframe system and component changes, as well as systems checkouts.
Interpret technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Execute other required activities as assigned.
Demonstrate necessary competencies to meet business requirements.
Act as a leader and trainer for functional and/or cross-functional teams.
Required Education
Airframe and Powerplant License
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance, or airframe sheet metal maintenance.
Required Knowledge
Must have experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities.
Proficiency in operating all pneumatic, power, and hand tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.
Ability to read and interpret arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications, as well as knowledge of jet, piston, airframe, and engine principles.
