We are seeking an experienced Air Traffic Control Instructor II to join our team, FL. In collaboration with SAIC, you will support air traffic controller training services. This role involves delivering high-quality classroom and simulation laboratory training to a diverse group of students, including developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers.
Responsibilities
Deliver effective and consistent classroom and simulation laboratory training.
Mentor ATC students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO).
Participate in curriculum design and development.
Obtain radar and/or non-radar simulation laboratory certifications air traffic control facilities.
Requirements
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Minimum five (5) years of experience or recent experience as a contract Instructor facility.
Strong technical skills with current automation and simulation systems.
Certified Professional Controller certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Ability to obtain and maintain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory Certification.
Desired Skills
Operational experience simulators (e.g., TSS, AT Coach, SGET).
Ability to collaborate effectively personnel at all levels.
Demonstrated teaching or platform skills with a student-focused approach.
