I. Position DescriptionWorking from verbal and written instructions provides operations and production support.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoots CEMDAS units and performs necessary maintenance.
Evaluates manometers and chart recordings to make necessary repairs.
Performs all air pollution control equipment maintenance.
Inspects and replaces baghouse bags.
Troubleshoots draft problems.
Maintains all required checklists and reports.
Keeps area orderly, clean, and free of debris.
Complies with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
Other duties, as assigned.
II. QualificationsA. PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to monitor and evaluate baghouse/scrubber operations.
Must be able to complete daily baghouse checklists and inspections, as required.
Experience driving heavy equipment.
Good interpersonal communications skills; written and verbal.
Able to pass the Workplace Appraisal (reading test)
Experience working in an industrial environment.
Able to work all shifts.

III. Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentA. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
B. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
If duties require entry to an arsenic or cadmium-controlled area, appropriate respiratory protection must be worn.
