AIR POLLUTION METEOROLOGIST I

The Air Pollution Meteorologist I is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. Positions are located in Montgomery.

This is professional work in the air quality planning area of an air pollution control program. Employees in this class are responsible for determining the impact of industrial and other sources of air pollution on air quality.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT(S)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in meteorology. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT(S)
  • Applicants must submit an official college transcript for each accredited* postsecondary academic institution attended.

Original transcripts issued to students will be accepted.

Photocopies of transcripts and faxed transcripts will be accepted.

Information obtained from the internet will NOT be accepted.
