We’re Hiring! Our key client is looking for additional members to their team. We have a Direct Hire Sales Director role on the team.


Pay Rate: $120K-125K/yr. + commission

Work Type: Remote


Job Overview:

  • In the position of Director, Partnerships and Market Development reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role as a member of the leadership team tasked with leading our membership acquisition and retention, go-to-market development, and demand generation strategies and operations in alignment with our organizations’ mission and key objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting organizational sales, revenue and membership target.
  • Leading key strategic accounts in collaboration with the Member Engagement team.
  • Coordinating and facilitating contractual negotiations with company's new and existing members to drive to success execution of agreements.
  • Direct supervision of Member Engagement team members.
  • Developing wider ecosystem relationship development, representing company at major events, conferences, and advocacy opportunities.
  • Represent company as a thought leader at global conferences and speaking engagements to generate awareness, prospect for new opportunities, and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Providing strategic feedback and input on the prioritization of assets for the Member Portal and for Lead Generation.
  • Working closely with Operations and Member Engagement teams to ensure the prompt invoicing and vendor onboarding for new members.
  • Support and provide guidance on all member related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership development, market development, or business development.
  • Someone that has sales and leadership in Technology, Finance, or Software.
  • Someone really passionate about AI and has post, or blogged or gone to AI seminars or conferences.
  • Someone that has a heavy AI background.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnership and market development strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of the AI industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with responsible AI practices, ethical considerations, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop long-term partnership and market development plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, donors, and industry leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively to develop new partnership opportunities and market strategies.
  • Passionate about the responsible use of AI and committed to the mission and values of the organization.
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at different levels.
