Job Role (Advisory Financial Services Risk Management Manager):

As an Advisory Financial Services Risk Management Manager contractor you will focus on engagements involving the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Master identifying, evaluation, and prioritizing business, technology, and operational regulatory risks along with risk mitigation strategies for clients. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework (e.g., risk appetite, risk inventory, risk identification, RCSA, etc.).
  • Contribute to the advancement of client deliverables or other internal business demands.
  • Actively engage in project management and work delivery needs discussions, contribute to workstreams on complex projects, and collaborate with client counterparts.
  • Aid team in supplying recommendations to refine or transform processes to increase efficiencies or decrease risk for our clients.
  • Operate independently and manage multiple tasks across teams to deliver exceptional results. Take on additional work when possible.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, topic-specific discussions, and competitive activities impacting the industry.


Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./BS) or military experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in the financial service industry.
  • Experience in regulatory remediation, change management, or business transformation initiatives resulting of risk-related, operational evolutions, strategic, regulatory, and technological.
  • Strong communication skills to build positive and valuable work relationships with clients.
