Role Overview:

As an Advisory Director, you will leverage your solid public accounting experience to work closely with talented colleagues and our clients’ management, auditors, and advisors. You will implement best practices and solve complex financial reporting challenges, playing a key role in the growth and success of the firm’s new office in Philadelphia. This position offers a broad scope of responsibilities, from accounting to business development, making it an ideal role for someone looking to have a significant impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise market-leading clients on complex mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offering readiness, interim management, and various technical accounting matters.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and other SEC filings.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and related analyses.
  • Design and implement business process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and external auditors.
  • Manage existing client relationships and participate in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Serve as project leader, providing real-time feedback and guidance to junior team members.
  • Participate in recruiting initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Work on everything from policy implementations to debt and equity transactions, IPOs, carveouts, and interim coverage to assist existing accounting staff in cases of client growth or extended absences.
  • Contribute to the planned growth of the financial services practice.


Requirements:

  • Extensive public accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to advise on complex financial and accounting matters.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams.
  • Enthusiasm for participating in business development and recruiting efforts.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
