Bedrock Care is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate and exceptional care to our senior residents. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Admissions Director in our Skilled Long-term Care facility located in Eustis, Florida.
Admissions Director Overview:
As the Admission Director you will be responsible for overseeing the admissions process, marketing, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, touring potential residents and families, and helping lead the team to achieve projected census targets.
Admissions Director Key Duties:
Promote the Nursing and Rehabilitation facility, both internally and externally. Serve as a business resource and initiate referral relationships where possible.
Aggressively seek out potential clients and facilitate referral into the Nursing Center.
Complete pre-admission assessment accurately either personally or by telephone to gather clinical and financial information.
Maintains a current target list of potential new referral sources.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Admissions Director Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Admissions within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Proficiency in Medicare requirements and knowledge of insurance providers, including Medicare rules (PDPM), HMO rules (RUGS 11 & 111), Medicare prescription plans.
Thorough understanding of CMS guidelines, DOH regulations, and insurance policies.
Preferred: Established relationship with hospitals.
