The SUNY Rochester EOC (REOC) has been an established adult educational facility in the city of Rochester NY for over 50 years. Conveniently located in Downtown Rochester, the REOC has earned the reputation as one of the outstanding Centers in the state. REOC employees collaboratively provide skill and academic training necessary for students to continue to college or obtain a career. REOC has a strong connection to both SUNY Brockport and the University Center for Academic and Workforce Development. REOC is one of ten Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) and two Career Counseling and Outreach Centers located throughout New York State, each with a commitment to supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce and student population. Job Summary: The SUNY Rochester EOC (REOC) is currently accepting applications for an Admissions Advisor. The person in this role works cooperatively and collegially with other professional staff, faculty and administrators to achieve enrollment goals set by University Center for Academic and Workforce Development. Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Advising or related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
- Experience as a counselor or advisor of students/clients.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience in a culturally-diverse environment.
- Master's degree.
- Knowledge and experience with Banner or related system.
- Experience working in an admissions office.
- Experience working with a non-traditional adult student population.
- Bilingual.
