Under the supervision of the Program Director and/or Program Coordinator, is responsible for but not limited to planning, facilitating, implementing, and coordinating mental health / case management services to adults with mental illness who are transitioning from locked placements (psychiatric and forensic) to community settings.
Essential Functions
Provide administrative support for program staff and managers
Provide general office work to all program staff and managers as needed
Maintain and support staff in coordinating the psychiatrist schedule for all program clients
Support in facility management to ensure safety and coordinate program needs in facilities
Coordinate and maintain office supplies
Maintain vehicle scheduling, maintenance tracking, and paperwork
Coordinate events
Manage phone system and communicate messages to staff members
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director and/or Program Coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
Background check required
Initial Health Screening and TB clearance required
COVID-19 Vaccination required
Legal status to work in the United States
Must have own reliable transportation
Knowledge: Basic Computer software programs (Experience on Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet); Knowledge and ability to relate to people with mental illness; Knowledge of DSM-IV and Mental Illness
Skills: Good writing and oral (communication) skills are necessary; Strong interpersonal and social skills; Time management skills necessary
Abilities: Ability to drive; Ability to develop and maintain effective working relations with program and with community representatives and contractors; Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team; Ability to be detail oriented;
Bilingual Skills Preferred But Not Required
One year of direct service experience in a hospital or mental health setting which has an interdisciplinary team approach preferred but not required.
Environmental Conditions (Working Conditions)
Job duties are to be performed in the office setting.
Physical Requirements
The employee is expected to drive, sit, stand, walk, carry a maximum of 20lbs, listen, and speak in order to complete job requirements.
