Psychology Consultation Specialists, PLLC, is a private practice in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. At PCS, licensed mental health professionals provide assessment, psychotherapy, and medication management services for individuals, couples, and families.
Job description:
The Administrative Supervisor oversees day-to-day front desk operations, assists with billing operations, oversees new-hire training, and fosters collaborative relationships.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent multitasking and organizational skills and have at least 1 - 2 years of experience in healthcare administration and/or revenue cycle administration. They must be able to objectively evaluate the performance of others, be self-confident, organized, industrious, and able to perceive the needs of others and respond appropriately without direction.
Compensation for this position is DOE (dependent on experience) and negotiable for candidates with healthcare billing and revenue cycle administrative/management experience. This position will report to the Clinical Director.
Responsibilities include:
Training new front desk staff (i.e., scheduling, welcoming clients, collecting payments, answering phones, supporting providers, etc.)
Providing back-up to front desk staff, when needed
Assisting in charge entry, payment posting, and other assigned revenue cycle and billing administrative duties
Provide back-up to PCS Business Manager, when needed
Oversees policy implementation and maintenance
Develops billing and administrative training manuals
Coordinates and leads training for admin onboarding procedures
Handles patient calls regarding billing/admin questions and resolves disputes
Supervision of front desk administrative team members
Requirements:
2 years experience as an administrator or project manager in a mental health, dental, or medical practice or other clinical setting.
1 - 2 years medical billing/revenue cycle experience strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.
Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to provide high-grade customer service.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professional and polished presence with ability to exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive), and electronic medical record software.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; preference given to those with a degree in health care administration, human resources, business, or related field.
