Administrative Assistant to NextGen - North Campus

Ensure seamless operation of Prestonwood Baptist Church North Campus (PBC-NC) NextGen ministry activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the NextGen Pastor and his team, including managing communication correspondence and executing general office tasks
  • Maintain meticulous calendars for the NextGen Pastor, and overall ministry, scheduling appointments and coordinating engagements
  • Prepare and organize essential materials ahead of NextGen Pastor's engagements
  • Facilitate coordination between North and Plano Campus NextGen offices, serving as a central point of contact for streamlined communication and collaboration
  • Manage requests and inquiries from ministry leadership, teachers, members, guests, and other ministries, including pastoral care
  • Assist in the management and operational tasks of campus events and facility usage requests to further the success of NextGen ministry
  • Coordinate effective communication and planning between North Campus, Plano Campus, and Espanol Next Gen ministries
  • Ensure excellent, clear communication between PBC-NC NextGen ministries, church members and guests
  • Coordinate vendor contract requests with Administration
  • Execute financial transactions specific to NextGen, such as purchase orders, check requests, gift cards, and credit cards
  • Provide support in the planning and execution of special projects and events
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for NextGen ministries
  • Conduct weekly assessments of PBC NC ministries readiness for Sunday services
  • Monitor Prestonwood Christian Academy - NC shared spaces, proactively addressing any potential overlap issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a member of PBC - NC
  • Some college, college degree preferred
  • Prior experience in an administrative support role
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • A high level of confidentiality
  • Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, continuous finger/hand movement and use of stairs
