Adjunct, SAT Preparation -- Remote | WFH

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate instructor to provide student-centered instruction in test preparation courses such as SAT Verbal and Math Preparation. This role is focused on delivering engaging and accessible learning experiences that cater to a diverse range of educational needs and goals.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Facilitate student mastery of core learning outcomes using relevant and scholarly tools.

Provide differentiated instruction to meet the varying needs and levels of students.

Plan detailed, creative, and engaging lesson plans to captivate students.

Complete the orientation process for adjunct faculty, including Title IX and other policy training.

Submit and update all necessary personnel forms required for employment.

Provide timely notice if unable to attend class or scheduled meetings.

Submit class evaluations and other required documents as directed by program staff.

Cultivate an environment of open-minded inquiry.

Promote cooperation and mutual respect among students.

Develop and provide relevant classroom exercises and activities.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Experience in teaching.

Basic computer skills necessary for utilizing technology in the classroom.

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience with SAT or other test preparation curriculum.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multicultural workplace.

Additional Information

A background check, including fingerprinting, is required to maintain employment.

This position is part of a hiring pool that will remain active through May 31, 2025.
