Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Adjunct Professor to join our Elementary English as a Second Language (ESL) certification program. This role entails teaching the course on Literacy Acquisition for English Learners (ELs). The course is scheduled to run on approximately one Saturday per month, spanning from September 2024 to March 2025.
Responsibilities
Conduct engaging and informative sessions on Literacy Acquisition tailored to the needs of current practicing teachers.
Provide mentorship and support to participants in their journey to enhance ESL teaching skills.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
A minimum of a Master's degree in TESOL or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise and professional experience in ESL education.
Proven track record of leadership and achievement in the field.
Familiarity with best practices in ESL teaching and learning methodologies.
Additional Information
Job Type: Part-time, Temporary
Compensation: $3,500 for the duration of the program
Work Location: Remote
