We are seeking qualified candidates who can work with a diverse population of students and colleagues and individuals who have experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives.
This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The duties include teaching one to two courses per semester in online or in-person formats.

CAPLA’s setting in Tucson offers inspiration and guidance to faculty and students working directly with and in response to the diverse ecology and culture of the Sonoran Desert while developing processes for analysis and design that are portable to other arid and semi-arid locales.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach one to two courses per semester.
- Syllabi and assignment preparation.
- Deliver classroom lectures and instructional activities.
- Create, grade, and critique student assignments.
- Exam preparation and grading.
- Evaluate overall student performance in the course.
- Participation in relevant department faculty meetings as appropriate.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
- Ability to work with diverse students and colleagues.
- Master's or doctoral degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or a related field.
- Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives.
- Experience managing web-based and remote learning environments.
- Successful college or university teaching experience.
