The Department of French and Italian is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Adjunct Instructor in French. The expectation of this position is teaching one to two in-person courses at the undergraduate level for the Spring 2024 and/or Fall 2024 semesters. Your teaching load may make you eligible for benefits if you work a .50 FTE or greater for 90 days or longer. As courses and loads are determined, we will notify employees should they gain benefits eligibility status. This position is not tenure track.

Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate must be able and qualified to teach undergraduate level French language courses to be taught in person.
Hold office hours.
Attend meetings and events as requested.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a Master's Degree in French or related field.
Native or near-native fluency in French and English.
Experience in teaching French basic and upper-level language courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in teaching at college-level.
