Position Overview
We are seeking part-time faculty members for online teaching.
Minimum Qualifications
Earned doctoral degree in counselor education, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program, or related doctoral degrees with significant full-time faculty experience in counselor education before July 1, 2013.
Active memberships in professional counseling organizations.
Full licensure as a school counselor within six months of employment.
Demonstrated professional development, research, scholarly activity, service, and advocacy in counseling.
Experience in course design and online teaching.
One to three years of supervision experience.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program.
Additional credentials in school counseling (e.g., NCSC; ACS).
Experience in clinical mental health counseling and full licensure or eligibility.
Teaching experience in a Counselor Education and Supervision program.
Familiarity with Blackboard and Tevera for course design and online teaching.
Three to five years of supervision experience.
Knowledge of CACREP standards.
Responsibilities
Teach graduate-level School Counseling (SC) courses.
Develop, evaluate, and update curricula, course content, materials, and instructional methods.
Support departmental management and administration.
Maintain active membership and engagement in relevant professional organizations.
Stay updated with field developments through literature, discussions, and conferences.
Supervise graduate practicum, internship, and research activities.
Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in Mental Health Counseling.
Attend monthly faculty meetings.
