Position Summary
The Liniger Center on Franchising in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver is seeking to hire adjunct instructors for franchising-related programming through the 2023-24 academic year.
Essential Functions
Teaching adjunct faculty are responsible for course development and delivery. Details of all teaching and non-teaching responsibilities will be provided by the Senior Executive Director of the center at the time of hire agreement.
Required Qualifications

Course Rate
Adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $500.00 - $10,500.00 based on assignment. The specific rate paid is dependent on program, course, credit hour, length of course, and/or teaching responsibility.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree, J.D, or 5+ years of full-time executive experience in franchising or in area of specialization/expertise, depending on the course offered.
- Commitment to continued assessment of the teaching-learning process and its outcomes
- Commitment to continuous professional development, on-going learning, and keeping up with industry and subject matter research and trends
- Demonstrated mastery of subject matter of discipline
- Ability to teach at the university level
- Previous teaching/instructing experience at university level
