The faculty member will engage students in the teaching/learning process, work assigned schedule, and perform other related duties as required. The faculty should be able to teach macroeconomics and microeconomics.
This is an in-person position looking for a candidate that can teach on campus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans and teaches courses which fulfill the current curriculum goals and objectives
Remains current with subject matter and instructional methodology
Assures consistency in the planning, preparation, and administration of the course content, syllabus, outlines, and other teaching materials for courses and lab experiences. Works effectively with students and challenges students appropriately with an acceptable level of civility and discourse
Communicates progress in the course to students in a timely manner.
Employs appropriate assessment techniques to measure student performance in achieving course goals and objectives. Collects, reports, and maintains assessment documentation.
Determines and submits students' grades in accordance with established College policies and procedures.

Education and Work Experience:
Master's degree in Economics, or related field (including at least 18 graduate semester hours) which supports teaching of microeconomics or macroeconomics is required.
