Mobile Marketing Course Development & Social Media Marketing Course Development

Concordia University Chicago is seeking adjunct faculty as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop and teach online, MBA courses within the Digital Marketing Specialization; Mobile Marketing and Social Media Marketing.

Curriculum Development Responsibilities

• Develop the prospectus based on Concordia University Chicago's (CUC's) College of Business mission and curriculum focus.
• Develop the syllabus for the specific course based on CUC's College of Business format and standards.
• Designs content for delivery in an online environments and complete instructional design documentation to ensure quality and consistency.
• Work with Instructional Design Team (IDT) to ensure the course is set up on Blackboard in the appropriate manner.
• Teach the online, 8 week, MBA course that was developed and adjust the curriculum accordingly.
  
  

Qualifications And Requirments

• Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in marketing from a regionally accredited university. Terminal degree is preferred.
• Experience teaching and developing online curriculum at the post-graduate level.
• Experience teaching Digital Marketing in higher education; Mobile Marketing and Social Media preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience working in digital marketing. Deep understanding of the dynamic environment of mobile marketing and social media.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Student centered philosophy in teaching.
• Experience using Blackboard or other LMS.
  
  

Compensation

• The compensation is $2500 for the prospectus and course development
• Adjunct faculty compensation is $2400 per course.
