Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry (05-23-2023)

SCHEDULE: Fall semester lab sections meet one day a week and are scheduled in the morning or afternoon.POSITION DESCRIPTION:

LeTourneau University invites applications for adjunct faculty members qualified to teach General Chemistry I Labs for the 2023/24 academic year. Classes are in a face-to-face setting on the LeTourneau University campus located in Longview, Texas. The adjunct will be invited to teach one or more sections based upon schedule and availability. LeTourneau University seeks an innovative, dynamic, student-focused instructor to join a new and growing program in Chemistry. We are looking for a chemist to conduct laboratory instruction conforming to best practices, including those for safety.

Qualifications

The preferred candidate has at least a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field. Candidates with at lease eighteen graduate hours in Chemistry or Chemistry-related courses, combined with previous lab experience, may also apply.
