Activities Director

Lakeside Generations, a 5-star rated senior care campus overlooking a lake, is hiring a Full-Time Activities Director to join our team!In this important role, you will manage a small team of activities professionals, plan and conduct fun and exciting activities for our residents.Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being, and has a creative personality and positive attitude.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position.

Activities Director responsibilities:

• Manage small team of activities professionals
• Ensure meaningful activities are scheduled and executed seven days a week
• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Activities Director requirements:

• 1+ year of experience working in an assisted living, independent, or long-term care environment preferred
• Desire to work with the older adults required
• Artistic and musical skills are a plus
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors
• Engaging, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and overflowing with creativity to share in planning new activities
