Acquisitions Analyst

Analyst Responsibilities

Working directly with the Acquisition and Asset Management teams, the Acquisitions Analyst responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Source and underwrite potential multifamily and industrial investments in target U.S. markets.
• Perform detailed research and analysis on real estate markets and submarkets to guide investment decisions.
• Coordinate and analyze due diligence and financing activities with third parties and consultants.
• Prepare investment memorandums and other offering materials for investment committee presentations.
• Maintain relationships with industry professionals for deal sourcing such as brokers, owners and developers.
• Selectively accompany senior Acquisition Team members on property tours and market evaluation trips.
• Assist in the timely preparation and distribution of investor reports on a quarterly and annual basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or other 4-year university degree
• 1 to 3 years of related work experience in real estate, finance or private equity preferred, but not required
• Strong quantitative, financial analysis and modeling skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
• A relationship-oriented problem solver with the ability to manage multiple dynamic tasks simultaneously
• An entrepreneurial mindset capable of working well in a team environment while also taking ownership of tasks
• Ability to travel overnight selectively on a monthly basis
