the Achievement and Integration Specialist is in the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Center. The EDI Center's mission is to advance the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion to create the conditions for building authentic cross-cultural communities where harm is eliminated, and every person's humanity is acknowledged and valued. In this position, you will provide support and oversight for the Minnesota Department of Educations' Achievement and Integration Program. You will provide technical assistance to support school districts in meeting program requirements and implementing successful programs. Duties include:

  • Developing, delivering, and assessing technical assistance, coaching, and training on achievement and integration program requirements and issues;
  • Developing tools and resources to guide and advise districts on improving their achievement and integration programs through planning, setting goals, developing strategies, and providing continuous improvement;
  • Reviewing plans and budgets, and writing collaboratively to review achievement and integration plans and budgets.

This position will engage with internal staff, educators, and community organizations to support, direct and guide A&I fund recipients in the development and implementation of strategies and interventions to create safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of education program management at a school district or government entity

OR

A bachelor's or master's degree and 4 years of education program management experience at a school district or government entity

Experience must include:

  • Work on a PreK-12 achievement and integration plan

Preferred Qualifications

Experience coaching and/or mentoring leaders and educators to increase effectiveness;

Experience developing and facilitating professional development for leaders and educators;
