We are in search of an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This role involves the comprehensive management of the accounts payable department, including the supervision of staff, maintaining financial records, and ensuring efficient processing of vendor payments. The successful candidate will be proficient in Quickbooks and have experience in multi-entity management.
Responsibilities
Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable processes from receipt of invoices to vendor payment.
Regularly review and monitor invoice entries in Quickbooks for accuracy and timeliness.
Compile and present financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established internal controls and procedures.
Supervise accounts payable staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with various departments to reconcile any discrepancies or errors.
Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of AP policies and procedures that align with company standards.
Facilitate timely and accurate month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and analysis of related accounts.
Prepare and review payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
Manage accounts payable in a multi-entity environment, overseeing multiple ledgers and ensuring proper coding and allocation.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager for a minimum of 3 years
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Familiarity with Concur software
Proficient in Data Processing tasks
Knowledge of ERP Solutions
Understanding of Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
Skilled in Check Processing
Ability to resolve Discrepancies in accounting records
Experience with Expense Reporting tasks.
