Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely processing of internal and external invoices, company credit card transactions, and payments to contractors and vendors.

Additional Details:

• Manages credit cards and transaction processing and reconciliation Credit card management and transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Invoices processing and payments
• Processes and verifies accuracy of client billing for all transactions
• Keeps accounts accurate and current
• Processes expense reports for internal employees
• Updates and verifies contractor information in our accounting system, including direct deposit information and W9
• Responsible for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with management, team members, and other teams

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Able to work well in team environment as well as independently
• Able to multi-task in fast-paced environment
• Customer service oriented
• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and procedures, including expense coding
• Basic knowledge of office applications and accounting software
• 1099 reporting
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
• 1-2 years of accounts payable experience preferred
• Staffing agency experience preferred
• Workday experience helpful
