Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage the entire Accounts Payable function at FastSpring. This person must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to prioritize.

Position reports to the Assistant Controller, and is a fully Remote role.

Primary Responsibilities & Goals For The Accounts Payable Specialist

• Manage high volume full cycle accounts payable.
• Ensure all invoices have proper backup, coding, and approval before processing.
• Process international and multi-currency invoices and payments.
• Enter all invoices in Quickbooks Online.
• Maintain an accurate AP aging report.
• Process weekly check run.
• Process bank payments through ACH, Wires, and Foreign Exchange.
• Track recurring invoices and follow up with vendors and employees to ensure they are received in time for month end close.
• Review balance sheet and P&L for accurate coding.
• Enter month end journal entries.
• Year-end review and processing of 1099s.
• Resolve any outstanding payment issues.
• Main contact for vendors and employees for all accounts payable inquiries.
• Handle high volume of emails.
• Perform other general accounting duties and projects as requested.
  
  
  

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years full cycle accounts payable experience.
• Detail oriented and great communication skills.
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  
  
  

Technology & Systems

• Microsoft Office or G Suite
• Quickbooks would be a plus.

Consistent with FastSpring's values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. The base pay range below represents a good faith estimate of the low and high end base pay range for the listed position. This role may be eligible for the corporate bonus plan (or, if a sales role, a commission plan as defined in the sales incentive plan document). In addition, FastSpring provides a variety of benefits to employees.

Estimated Base Pay Range

$55,000 — $70,000 USD
