As the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable full-cycle process to accurately process payment in a timely manner, while also ensuring that tax regulations are followed for year-end tax reporting’s. Works under general supervision.
Complies with annual 1099 and other tax obligations.
Processes company purchase card transactions into NetSuite.
Partners with the Royalty Department to process payments for the quarterly and semi-annual royalty runs.
Manages and reviews work performed by the Accounts Payable Coordinator for accuracy and timeliness when processing employee Expensify reports, royalty purchase orders, and overhead bills.
Maintains the Accounts Payable inbox with the help of the Accounts Payable Coordinator
Manages weekly cash requirement reports for open bills due by ensuring bill payments, wires, and checks are processed properly.
Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role. Ensures effective staff training, interviews candidates for employment, evaluates staff performance and recommends hiring, promotions, salary actions and terminations as appropriate.
Supports the Senior Manager of Accounting as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
High school diploma required or the equivalent combination of work experience and education.
A minimum of 3+ years of relevant accounts payable experience. Prior experience managing a team is helpful.
Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills with ability to work with and troubleshoot in pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and XLOOKUPS.
Experience with verification of W-8 and W-9 tax forms required.
Proactive self-starter: ability to take the lead, and work with little direction is a must!
Extremely detail oriented.
Outstanding communication and organizational skills are required.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliverables.
Well-developed communication and presentation skills
