Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and assisting with month-end closing activities. The Accounts Payable Clerk will ensure accuracy and efficiency in all transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner
  • Verify invoice accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and obtain approvals
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments
  • Assist with other accounting tasks as needed


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
