Job Summary

South Bay Mazda is searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our automotive team in Torrance, CA. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible to process all accounts payable tasks including vendor payments, invoicing, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and be able to work in a team and independently.

Compensation & Benefits

The Accounts Payable Clerk will receive a competitive salary ranging from $20 to $24 per hour based on experience, paid semimonthly. Additional benefits include employer paid medical coverage, 401K, vacation, and sick leave.

Responsibilities

Input all invoices into accounting software, keeping accurate and complete records of all invoice and payments for multipal dealerships

Reconcile vendor accounts, process payments, and track receipt of goods

Manage accounts payable processing through scheduled payments

Generate reports and analysis of accounts payable activity

Point of contact for all vendor inquiries.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience within the automotive industry

Knowledge of accounting principles

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to analyze and interpret financial data

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Proven Accounts Payable experience, with at least two years of experience in automotive accounting.

Essential Duties

Proven track record in automotive accounts payables

Exceptional working knowledge of Dealership DMS (We use Dealertrack)

Proficient in MS Word and Excel (or Google Docs)

Willingness to Listen and Learn

Ensure that all manufacturer accounts/receivables are current and accurate

Maintain a professional appearance

Ensure compliance with all legal regulations
