This position plays a key role in the overall coordination of the front office and acts as a resource for other departments and personnel seeking appropriate information.
Performs a range of basic office support activities including customer service support.
Essential Functions
Routine customer service support with receivables and payables
Pay all vendor invoices, checking for appropriate GL codes, approvals & purchase orders
Filing customer, vendor invoices
Order entry and Customer service for satellite locationsOrder supplies for satellite sites
Update paper logs and pricing
Manage open PO Maintenance
Create and prepare documents and spreadsheets for accruals
Process incoming / outgoing mail
Answer telephones in a courteous manner, routes calls, take messages, answers routine inquiries and provides general information, greets and directs visitors
Provides high level of customer service and assistance to clients
Communicate in person and through correspondence with high professionalism to vendors, customers and senior leadership
Maintain postage machine
Maintain sign in book and Confidentiality Waivers
May order, stock, and distribute office supplies
May run various errands, as required, for the office
Support department with general office duties and special projects
Position Qualifications Education:
High School diploma or GED required
Experience:
Accounts Payable experience
Minimum of 3 years in a Manufacturing environment
3-5 years' experience working in accounting field
Clerical experience and organizational skills required
Must have strong interpersonal skills
Must have strong and professional communication via email and telephone
Intermediate computer skills
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter and ability work independently
Ability to multitask and meet deadline
