We are seeking a strong Accounting Manager. The right candidate must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have excellent organizational skills. This position requires a high level of collaboration and partnership with leadership. Must demonstrate strong Excel and other Microsoft applications skills and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, high growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting team in overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
• Prepare journal entries and account/balance sheet reconciliations and complete variance analysis.
• Maintain and utilize financial analysis tools to prepare financial reporting packages.
• Support acquisition activities and integration of new business units related to parts and service departments.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and other internal policies and best practices.
• Assist in and support process improvement projects.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation for external auditors.
• Other duties and special projects as defined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA license preferred.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn accounting system applications.
• A desire and ability to support multiple locations.
• High level of initiative with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deal with ambiguity and manage projects.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
