We are looking for an Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accountants and senior accountants
Design policies, procedures and controls to drive efficiency and accuracy under US GAAP
Oversee internal controls to ensure timely, accurate and reliable Financial statements and reporting, and to ensure that policies and procedures meet other organizational objectives and needs
Lead a timely and accurate financial close process, review close deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, commitments, disclosures, etc) and summarize financial results for management reporting
Collaborate with FP&A to establish a cohesive budget to process and review between the accounting and FP&A teams
Other ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience
Strong leadership abilities, thinking ahead of needs to help drive the best business decisions
Strong analytical skills, efficient, self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvement
Ability to delegate and mentor, demonstrating a team-oriented mentality
