Accounting Manager

Join our team at a Confidential Luxury Retail Concept Store as an Accounting Manager. We're seeking an experienced professional to oversee all Finance & Accounting functions in our rapidly growing organization. This role is pivotal as we transition from outsourced to in-house F&A operations to meet increasing demand. Retail industry experience is preferred however not required!

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and monthly financial close.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Lead the integration and implementation of new ERP systems and fintech solutions.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for executive review.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a productive and positive team environment.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and benefits administration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems implementation.
• Proficiency in fintech tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.

Location: Houston, TX (Galleria area)

Salary: $95,000 - $110,000
