About Rad AI

We have raised $80+ million to date from venture funds and just closed on our series B financing with investors Khosla Ventures, Gradient (Google’s AI fund) and ARTIS. We’ve also formed a partnership with Google to collaborate on the future of generative AI to redefine healthcare. Currently, more than 1/3 of radiology groups and healthcare systems, including Kaiser Permanente, HCA Healthcare, and Geisinger, now leverage the latest Gen AI advancements from Rad AI. We're recognized as one of the most promising healthcare AI companies by both CB Insights and AuntMinnie. Come join us in transforming healthcare with AI!

Founded by the youngest US radiologist in history, Rad AI empowers physicians with Al to save time, reduce burnout, and improve the quality of patient care. By combining our deep expertise in healthcare and AI and using one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world, our AI has uncovered hundreds of new cancer diagnoses for patients and reduced the error rate in tens of millions of radiology reports by nearly 50%.

Why Join Us:

As Rad AI emerges from our Series B financing, the Finance & Accounting department increasingly becomes a critical function in driving the maturity of the business as we scale revenue, the team, and the markets we operate in. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the VP Finance to enhance internal processes and systems for increased efficiency and scalability, bring sophistication to internal controls, ensure audit-ready compliance with financial regulations and standards, and empower the team to be a strategic partner to the business by producing accurate, timely, and insightful financial data. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who takes pride in getting the details right while proactively planning and building for the future.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day general ledger accounting functions and perform reviews to ensure compliance with US GAAP, external audits, and internal controls
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including managing/reviewing close activities such as journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, credit cards, reimbursements, accounts receivable, payroll, and commissions calculations
  • Implement and optimize financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Partner closely with Finance around monthly variance analysis, management reporting, and GAAP reporting
  • Execute non-routine transactions relevant to the general ledger, including application of accounting guidance, preparation of workpapers and journal entries, and walkthroughs with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and standard operating procedures
  • Motivate, mentor, and develop staff to help achieve their career goals
  • Engage with auditors to support audits and ensure compliance
  • Handle tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely filing and adherence to regulations
  • Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance and ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of accounting experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS company
  • Passionate about Rad AI’s mission, with a commitment to developing a high-performing Accounting function
  • Ability to think independently, plan for the future, and work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and eager to roll up your sleeves
  • Proficient with QuickBooks Online and experienced in transitioning to more advanced systems (e.g., NetSuite)

Come join our world-class team as we build and deploy AI solutions that will make a difference in millions of people’s lives. Our team is mission-driven and focused on transparency, inclusion, close collaboration, and building an incredible team.
