We are looking for an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for the accurate and timely financial management of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting operations, production of periodic financial reports and maintenance of accounting records. This role offers the potential for increased responsibility and advancement as the company grows and performance warrants.
What you get to do: The Accounting Manager will manage the global accounting function for this high-growth technology services company with headquarters in the U.S. and subsidiary operations in the U.K. This role will work closely with Practice GM’s and the VP of Sales to execute business strategies and long-term goals. This position will have two direct reports, one in the U.S. and one in the U.K., who manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll. The Accounting Manager will report to the COO. Specific responsibilities will include the following:
Oversight and management of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll.
Financial reporting tasks including month end close, accruals and experience with consolidated financial statements.
Coordinating and directing budgeting, investment activities, financial planning, reforecasting, and scenario analysis.
Treasury ownership including U.S. cash management and U.S. / U.K. intercompany payments.
Establishing and maintaining financial controls within the organization.
Board presentations & communications.
Ensuing compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Responsible for annual audits, tax reporting and lender compliance.
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
MBA or MA preferred
CPA
Monthly closing experience
International / intercompany transaction experience preferred
Financial controls experience
Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is desired
System oversight / integration experience
Hands-on leader, not afraid to dig into the detail and get involved in addressing and resolving.
Excellent communication skills, written and in financial reporting
A minimum of 7 years of experience with increasing responsibilities
A high degree of initiative / self-starter

Business services, consulting, or IT services experience
Experience in private equity backed companies
