Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide support to financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
  • Oversee a small accounting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and training as needed.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts, providing insights to senior management.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with other departments to align financial goals and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance internal controls.
  • Work closely with other accounting leaders and departments to achieve company goals and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide support during annual audits and reviews.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Experience in policy development, implementation, and enforcement.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
