The Role:  ARMRA is looking for a talented Accounting Manager who will be responsible for assisting with the company's accounting operations. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for the wellness industry.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead month-end close ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and GL maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage tax compliance and third-party tax software and support.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (i.e. QBO, NetSuite, Bill.com, TaxJar) and Google/Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the wellness or DTC company is a plus.
