About the Job: TACO Metals, a division of Patrick Industries, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Sparta, TN. If you're passionate about finance, leadership, and driving organizational success, this is the opportunity for you! You'll play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating our accounting, financial reporting, financial management, and budgeting efforts to support our company.
What You'll Do:
Oversee AP & AR: Collaborate with AP &AR to ensure vendor invoices are processed and paid on time and customers pay within terms
Financial Reconciliation: Conduct thorough balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to the Corporate close schedule and ensure all local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings are met
Inventory Valuation: Ensure inventory is properly valued by running PPV, job variance, and overhead absorption reports
Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports
Budget Management: Report budget variances and issues to management and Corporate
Capital Expenditure Management: Track and manage capital expenditures effectively
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Purchasing, Sales, and other business and operational disciplines
Who You Are:
Education & Experience: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience, preferably in manufacturing and cost accounting
Communication Expert: You excel in written and verbal communication, able to work effectively with everyone from hourly employees to senior management
Self-Motivated: You're self-driven, able to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines, and work independently with minimal oversight
Analytical Thinker: You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Integrity: You possess a high level of personal integrity, confidence, honesty, and respect
