Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Support and supporting the Assistant Director of Finance in leading the Accounting/Finance department - you are a leader who enjoys building relationships with clients and your team. You are a numbers person who thrives in an environment that involves systems, people, and financials. You enjoy developing others and working closely with many departments - and it just so happens you’ll be doing just that in an award-winning hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with monthly hotel reporting
Ensure hotel/company billing/credit procedures are in place
Complete and reconcile monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review by Director of Finance, all back up and reconciling items to be submitted
Additionally, the Accounting Manager must be able to assist in other areas of the accounting office as requested
Qualifications
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
Previous leadership experience in an accounting role required
Experience in the hospitality industry or related field.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft software
Opera experience is preferred
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
