Accounting Manager

Overview:

The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting operations, including financial statements, reconciliations, month-end closure, and the yearly audit. In addition, this position will be involved with FP&A duties, such as annual budgeting, monthly financial forecasting, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, including financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Lead FP&A activities, such as annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Manage high transaction volumes and drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.
• Interface with senior management, internal/external stakeholders, and supervise accounting team.
• Financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
• Treasury management support.
• Full-cycle accounting oversight, including general ledger, billing, collections, and accounts payable.
• Annual financial statement audit preparation and liaison with external auditors.
• Tax compliance assistance.
• System enhancements implementation.
• Business analysis, acquisition support, and cross-functional project participation.
• Personnel management and development.
• Manage small team of 4 accounting staff members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relative accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in multi-entity organization preferred
• External audit management experience, public accounting background a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment.
• Maturity, professionalism, and discretion.
• Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
