Accounting & Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

Korn Ferry Professional Search has been engaged by a local manufacturing organization on their search for a Finance & Accounting Manager. This position will manage a team of plant-controlling accountants and analysts.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversight and ownership of month-end close through financial statements
• Oversee all aspects of accounting for designated locations, including P&L, Manufacturing Statements, and Balance Sheet accounts.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting
• Lead the annual budget process
• Collaborate with key members of business teams to drive continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure SOX compliance
• Look for opportunities to drive process improvements

Skills:

• Ability to lead and motivate team
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong Excel Skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems required

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master’s Degree in Accounting or MBA is preferred
• 8-12+ years of relevant experience which includes manufacturing/standard cost accounting
