Responsibilities
In the role of Accounting Assistant, we'll count on you to:
Perform accounting functions such as accounts payables, project set up, and other related accounting functions to support our Project Accountants and Project Managers, Including:
Processing vendor invoices to the corporate finance and accounting group
Review and assist in processing Accounts Payable transactions for sub consultants
Manage corporate credit card transactions
Research and communicate release of subconsultant payments to corporate finance & accounting group
Review and answer questions as needed for employee expense reports relative to HDR travel & business expense policy & procedures
Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment
Do routine work and follow detailed instructions
Involve the use of computers to maintain financial records and accounting reports
Assist multiple project accountants and other staff daily
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Experience supervising other financial professionals beneficial
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail, manage multiple projects independently
