The Job

The Accounting Assistant supports evo’s accounts payable and overall accounting functions. The Accounting Assistant will contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes by accurately processing payments, invoices, and accounting documents.

Requirements

The Opportunity

  • Review, assemble, and validate invoices and check requests to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and dispatch vendor payments by check, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Organize and maintain accounting documents, including filing weekly payment remittances.
  • Collaborate with the team to organize incoming invoices and ensure proper documentation.
  • Efficiently pull and organize invoices ready for payment processing.
  • Process incoming check deposits accurately and promptly.
  • Manage incoming mail, sorting and categorizing documents as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


The Must Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in an office/admin setting, preferably in a finance environment
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and is reliable
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail, financial literacy, organized and reliable

The Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications

The base wage for this role ranges from $20.43 to $27.98/hr Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
