Our client is a hedge fund. They seek an Accounting Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office


Responsibilities

  • Complete and review all month-end activities
  • Handle accruals, prepayments, and expense allocations
  • Carry out bank reconciliation and account reconciliation
  • Oversee intercompany settlements and reconciliation
  • Manage Fixed Assets subledger (capitalization and depreciation)
  • Prepare month-to-date expense projections every week
  • Produce monthly/quarterly/annual account variance analysis
  • Review Fund Administrator, Audit, and Tax support packages
  • Support expense and budget-related requests and queries
  • Assist with various ad-hoc accounting projects


Requirements

  • 2-5 years of corporate accounting experience
  • Alternatives investments industry background
  • Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills
  • CPA or parts passed preferred
  • Skilled in Oracle Cloud and Tableau
