We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accountant to join our team. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work with one of the most innovative technology companies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, where creativity, initiative, and teamwork are valued and rewarded.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Accountant, your responsibilities will include

• Managing the general ledger and performing account reconciliations.
• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Utilizing MS Office, particularly Excel, to streamline and automate processes.
• Collaborating with other departments to gather information and resolve accounting issues.
• Participating in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Providing support for internal and external audits.
• Assisting with special projects as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Accountant position should have the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the technology or telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
• Proficient with MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• CPA certification is a plus but not required.
